“East Asia Today” (Ostasien Aktuell) is the title of a regular series of lectures and discussions organised by Prof. Dr. Anja Senz and her team at the Institute of Chinese Studies at Heidelberg University on political, economic and social developments in the Chinese-speaking world as well as in Japan and Korea.
The “East Asia Today Working Papers” make selected contributions from this lecture series available for discussion to everyone interested with the intention to provide an opportunity for further exchange. All articles reflect the perspectives of the respective authors, who bear sole responsibility for the correctness of the information and research results presented here. The Institute of Chinese Studies accepts no liability for the contents and their use. The Working Papers are available in PDF format and can be downloaded free of charge from this website.
